Vivo has officially announced that the Vivo V40 series will be making its debut in India during the first week of August. The Chinese smartphone giant confirmed this launch date via its social media platforms on Monday, July 29, and has started sending out media invites for the event.
The new Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro are set to bring significant improvements over the previous V30 series. Both models will feature advanced Zeiss-branded cameras and come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. They will also be equipped with a robust 5,500mAh battery and will be available in multiple color options.
Vivo India has shared that the official unveiling of the Vivo V40 series will take place on August 7, with the event scheduled to start at 12 PM. The promotional materials released by Vivo highlight the Zeiss camera branding, underscoring the focus on high-quality photography.
A special microsite dedicated to the Vivo V40 series has also been set up on the Vivo India website, further teasing the upcoming launch.
