between Shutterstock and Databricks, a leading data and AI firm. Aimed at meeting the high
standards of enterprise needs, Shutterstock ImageAI is now generally available, but users must
subscribe to a special monthly plan to generate images.

In their press release, Databricks highlighted that the platform was developed from the ground up
using their Mosaic AI tools. The ImageAI model was trained in just a few weeks, exclusively using
Shutterstock’s extensive image repository. This ensures that the AI is trained on high-quality stock
images, avoiding any copyrighted or low-quality material.

Shutterstock ImageAI is specifically tailored for enterprises. The training process involved images
already in use by businesses, which helps the AI generate images that align with corporate policies

The ImageAI platform is available on both Shutterstock’s website and Databricks’ Mosaic AI
platform. Databricks customers can integrate this AI platform into their workflows and use API calls

Price and subscription plan
To access Shutterstock ImageAI, users need to purchase a special subscription. The Generative AI
Plus subscription is priced at $7 per month (approximately Rs. 580) and includes 100 unique
generations, equating to 400 images as each prompt generates four images. For users needing more
than 100 images, custom add-ons are available. This plan is distinct from Shutterstock’s standard
monthly subscription, which starts at $49 per month (approximately Rs. 4,090).
Licence
Shutterstock’s Standard Licence, included with the Generative AI Plus subscription, has certain
restrictions. These include a limit of up to 500,000 copies for print and 500,000 impressions for out-
of-home (OOH) advertising. The licence does not permit usage for merchandising, packaging, web
templates, print templates, or commercial spaces.
