The CMF Phone 1, the inaugural smartphone from Nothing’s sub-brand, is set to launch soon. Following last week’s confirmation, the company has now released a teaser video showcasing the phone’s distinctive rotating dial. This teaser also hints at the upcoming release of new earbuds and smartwatch models.
Design and highlights of teaser
Nothing’s sub-brand shared a 15-second teaser video on its X (formerly Twitter) handle, titled “Reinventing the Wheel.” The video features three slowly rotating dials, suggesting the first belongs to the CMF Phone 1, while the other two likely represent the rumored CMF Buds 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2. The smartphone’s dial is speculated to control media playback and volume.
The teaser also reveals a matte black finish for the CMF Phone 1’s rear panel, although an orange variant has also been teased. Alongside the phone, CMF is expected to launch the CMF Buds 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2.
Expected price of CMF phone 1
Anticipated to be an affordable option, the CMF Phone 1 is rumored to be priced at Rs. 19,999 and will be available on Flipkart. It is expected to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC with support for 33W fast wired charging. The phone is likely a rebranded version of the Nothing Phone 2a but without the Glyph interface on the back.
Leaked specifications suggest the CMF Phone 1 will run on Android 14 and sport a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may come with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16-megapixel front camera. Additionally, it is expected to offer up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Alongside the CMF Phone 1, the brand is likely to introduce the CMF Buds 2 and the CMF Watch Pro 2. More details about these products are expected to be announced in the coming days.
